It's time to venture to the backside.

So many people are interested in backside play these days! Yay! Because honestly, it feels realllllllyyy good. Still, just many people are intimidated, freaked out, or downright scared of anything involving sex and the backdoor. We’re here to help you explore your butt in a safe, healthy way. It may become part of your sexual repertoire or you may decide it’s not for you, but either way, it’s worth getting to know your backside.  While there’s a misconception that butt stuff is only for people with a prostate, anal stimulation feels amazing whether you have a prostate or a vulva.

The best way to learn what works for you in terms of butt stuff is to try it out—first, by yourself! It can feel a little unnerving, but we promise masturbation is the way to go in terms of getting comfortable with pleasuring your backend (and we have the rights toys and lubes to help, of course). When you know more about what you like, you can then bring in your partner…and things will get really hot.

    The Challenge:

    • Spend 10 – 15 minutes touching and opening up your butt with either your finger or a beginner toy (we recommend Tush Pops)
    • Spend 5 – 25 minutes masturbating with a toy inside of you

    Our Tips:

    • Ease into it: Play around the outside of the anus first, using plenty of lube— we recommend Tush Cush. Start with your finger or a toy (like Tush Pops!)
    • Add into your normal routine: You don’t have to lavish all the attention on your butt up front—add it in to your normal masturbation routine. Try using Cake’s Buzzy Butt or Tush Pops while touching your penis or clitoris with your hands or another toy.
    • Relaxation is your friend: Go slowly and relax, with lots and lots of lube. Sometimes, that’s easier said than done, because relaxation takes time. The more time you take, the better it will feel. Promise  😉
    • Don’t worry too much about stuff coming out: It’s so common to worry about what might come out of the butt while you’re playing but anal anatomy ensures that’s a lot less common than you think. Sure, there might a little residue around, but have wipes at the ready. It happens and it’s ok. All of our toys can be washed with soap and water!

Go forth and explore! Y’all have fun.
